For this layout I wanted to use some scraps from Maggie Holmes Bloom and also the 6*6 paper pad. I decided that I wanted to try to make a cut file background. My first!
It turned out great! 😀
The butterflies are from a paper. My favorite one from Maggie Holmes Bloom. I really love to be able to make my own embellishments from a paper. All collection should have a paper like that! And a woodgrain! 😀
I also wanted to use up some thickers and made a very long title. It’s called “I-pad & headphones & everything pink!”! My daughter is in a pink phase right now… 😀
Gold, pink and dark woodgrain… could it be any better? I really love this combination!
And Maggie Holmes got a new collection! I love it already! 😀
That’s it from me this time! Hope you feel inspired!
It’s been a while since I wrote here! But no worries… I’m back!
First out is this layout. I really really like this one. I love the contrast between the dark wood and the pink. And I also really love to mix collections. It’s so fun to dig in all the boxes and just use things up! So the mix is mostly Crate Paper – Little you and Maggie Holmes… but there is also some Jen Hadfield, Shimelle and the flair is from somewhere unknown (Studio Calico?)!
Digging through my boxes and mixing collections are my favorite way to work… and I often does layout like this when I’m trying to make room for news. This autumn will be great for my stash… two collections from Crate Paper and one from Maggie Holmes… and all the Christmas collections!!! Oh my!
See you soon!
I really really like the band Suede! I was in love with Brett Anderson when I was a teenager. And as you know… you never forget your first crush!
So… this summer… when they came to Stockholm… I was there!
I saw Suede for the first time this summer! It’s been almost 20 years since I bought my first Suede CD. Crazy! The concert was worth the wait and the night was magic! Loved every single second of it and came sooo close to my dear Brett!
And I made a layout and a PL page about the concert. Not much text at all… just the setlist. I need to go back and write everything about it. I often match layouts with pocket pages. It’s perfect when you have a lot of photos. Sometimes I even use the same photos on the layout and in the pockets. That’s because I think of layouts more like a pretty thing and the pocket pages as a memory.
For this layout I wanted to do something simple and cool. I digged out things from almost all my boxes. This is a mix of several brands and collections. Love to work like that!
That’s it from me today!
I made a new layout! 😀
These are my favorite photos of Stella as a baby. I recently made them slightly better with Lightroom. So I made a new layout with old photos! I might go back to other photos too. This is my third layout with old photos…
I wanted to use up some of my stash and decided to mix and match old Crate Paper lines and some Maggie Holmes. The title is from my absolute favorite thickers pack from WRMK. I have only two words left (dream and adventure) and I will use them too some day!
The card with the rabbit on is from the collection Wonder and the cat is from the newer Little you. Perfect match! And I totally love woodgrain! This dark wood is from Simple Stories. Love it and it matches the brown on my daughters dino hoodie!
Some gold dots and some stitches and the layout was complete!
That’s it from me this evening! Hope you like it!
I love new collections… and there are a lot of news coming in now! Have you seen these?
New from Simple Stories:
New from My minds Eye:
New from American Crafts:
New from Cocoa Vanilla Studio:
New from Pink Paislee:
So much pretty! I really like the collection The Reset Girl from Simple Stories! It will be great for both PL and layouts… and I’m sure you can find papers to match.
What do you like? And have you seen some more sneaks?
More PL pages made with scrap papers and decorations from different collections! It’s so fun to use up the stash! Feels so good, especially when I know that there are new collections on their way! I want to be able to buy a lot of new stuff without feeling guilty! 😀
Here I focused on pink. Pink papers from different brands and collections. I try to match white base with white and cream base with cream. Easier that way. Some decorations and papers has no base at all… they are very easy to mix in!
When I have a complete spread to make I often try to use some decorations on both pages (if I have two of something!). 😀
More pink! And here I used the tag that came with a toy mouse my daughter got as a gift. A very cute little tag! I need to remember to save more tags and memorabilia…
Hope you like my spread!
Use some scraps and don’t forget to save some memorabilia!
Oh how I love the flowers from Maggie Holmes… and these are the my last ones! I’m really hoping for some new collections with good flowers for autumn. I would be thrilled if Maggie released something new!
The photo for this layout is an old one. But I made it better with lightroom and really wanted to make a new layout with it. The background is some kind of patchwork. I made it months ago but couldn’t find inspiration to continue with the layout! Some flowers and some stickers and the layout looked great! Quick and easy! 😀
Almost everything on the layout are from Maggie Holmes, new and old. I’ve started to buy stickers from some really old collections by Maggie Holmes. I don’t want to run out! I bought two of the ephemera packs from Bloom… but I have very little left anyway! I will buy three packs from her next collection! 😀
Hope you feel inspired!
