Pink love

Hi!

Pink is a very popular color in my house! My oldest daughter just loves pink and no other color! I’m guessing pink will be my youngest daughter’s favorite color as well… in a few years! On these photos she is only 2 months old and has just started to smile.

I gathered a lot of pink decorations and wanted to include some animals. Birds are one of my favorite object to include right now. Flowers are always pretty on a layout! These are cut from a paper.

I almost never mount my layouts on a background paper. But I really needed some black to balance all the pink.

That’s it from me today! Hope you like my work!

Love this!

Hi!

I’m trying to use up my stash before the new collections hits the store! And I’m having so much fun! I have a lot of things that I had forgotten about. Things I actually can and want to use.

The easiest way of using up stash is (I think) to choose decorations in the same colors. For this layout I collected all blue and green I could find. Both from new collections and very old ones. The decorations doesn’t really match each other… a cactus and flowers and stars? But the colors work together!ย

Hope you like my layout!

Fancy Pants – Dream Big

Hi!

I bought the new collection from Fancy Pants called Dream big! I just loved the clouds and the birds. I usually don’t like travel themed collections… because I don’t travel so much… Dream big seemed to be a bit more versatile than an ordinary travel collection… so I gave it a go!

The papers are stunning! I really love the combination of yellow and light blue. And pink of course… you always need some pink!

I scrapped one of my favorite photos this month. My youngest girl sleeping together with the most snuggliest guard dog!

The title and the birds are from some older Maggie Holmes collection. And the branches are made with my new die from Sizzix (love it!!!).

That’s it from me today! Hope you liked it!

Smaller format

Hi!

Have you ever tried to do a page in an other size than 12*12?

One popular format is 8,5*11. And I have tried it a few times before… but I think it is a bit small. Not enough room for embellishments… ๐Ÿ˜€

This week I had two extra photos that I didn’t want to make a 12*12 page with… I didn’t feel I had a story to go with the photos, I just wanted them to stand out a bit from the PL-pages. So I decided to try 8,5*11 again. And it was fun! Much quicker!!!!!

The first page is a mix of a lot of different collections. I really love to work like this… mix and match! I only have one real summer collection… and I haven’t used much of it. We don’t really have summer in Sweden. ๐Ÿ˜›

The second layout is with the popular flamingo! It’s a very pretty bird… and it’s pink… just like my girl! I matched the flamingos with a pink swan, just to make the pink more important than the sort of bird. We don’t have any wild flamingos here… and I have no photos of any! But you can make it work anyway! ๐Ÿ˜€ That’s it from me today! Hope you liked my layouts! And I hope you try this smaller format too!

Adventure

Hi!

New layout! ๐Ÿ˜€

Actually, I have a couple of new layouts… but I will post them here one at a time! ๐Ÿ˜€

This layout is made with both new and old things. The title is from WRMK – Wildflower… I have only one word left of those word thickers. My all time favorite product! As I have said before… I’m trying to use up my stash (and not buy anything at all). I have a lot of pretty papers in my stash and I can always find a paper I want to use. But embellishments are a bit more tricky… I find it easy to use flowers, so I have almost no flowers left now…

The green washi and the roller stampย from Maggie Holmes ย are two of my favorites right now. I use them on a lot of layouts and PL-pages.

What products are your favorites right now?

The day you were born

Hi!

I bought as much as I could from the baby collection from Crate Paper… but I couldn’t use everything from it… until now! And I’m so happy I saved some of it!!!! It is soooo lovely for all the baby photos!

The photo for this layout is taken just minutes after my youngest daughter was born. I just love the first look she gave me! I made the photo a bit larger than my usual photos… ‘cos it’s so special. And I didn’t want too many papers or embellishments around it. But I had some things I really felt like I wanted to use… like “the day you were born”-embellishment.

I mixed Crate Paper with some things from Shimelle and some Maggie Holmes.

That’s all from me today!

I used a lot of the new Maggie Holmes – Gather! Love it so so so much! Need to buy some more of it. The papers are the prettiest I have ever seen! Already used up most of them! Like always when it comes to collection from Maggie!

Have a lovely Sunday!
