Pink is a very popular color in my house! My oldest daughter just loves pink and no other color! I’m guessing pink will be my youngest daughter’s favorite color as well… in a few years! On these photos she is only 2 months old and has just started to smile.
I gathered a lot of pink decorations and wanted to include some animals. Birds are one of my favorite object to include right now. Flowers are always pretty on a layout! These are cut from a paper.
I almost never mount my layouts on a background paper. But I really needed some black to balance all the pink.
That’s it from me today! Hope you like my work!
I’m trying to use up my stash before the new collections hits the store! And I’m having so much fun! I have a lot of things that I had forgotten about. Things I actually can and want to use.
The easiest way of using up stash is (I think) to choose decorations in the same colors. For this layout I collected all blue and green I could find. Both from new collections and very old ones. The decorations doesn’t really match each other… a cactus and flowers and stars? But the colors work together!
Hope you like my layout!
I bought as much as I could from the baby collection from Crate Paper… but I couldn’t use everything from it… until now! And I’m so happy I saved some of it!!!! It is soooo lovely for all the baby photos!
The photo for this layout is taken just minutes after my youngest daughter was born. I just love the first look she gave me! I made the photo a bit larger than my usual photos… ‘cos it’s so special. And I didn’t want too many papers or embellishments around it. But I had some things I really felt like I wanted to use… like “the day you were born”-embellishment.
I mixed Crate Paper with some things from Shimelle and some Maggie Holmes.
That’s all from me today!
I’m finally done with all the Christmas photos! And all photos from 2016. I started my new album before Christmas. The last one was so full that I couldn’t fit any more pages in there. But… I don’t really mind! Hope I can make 2017 in only two albums. Then I’m going to try a different size I think… smaller albums! 😀
The best winter collection 2016 was the Snow & Cocoa from Crate Paper. I have almost nothing left of it now. A few papers and some decorations. I love to use up my stash! Feels so good to not just save things for later! Later never comes! 🙂
I mixed the Crate Paper collection with MME and some other bits and bobs.
For this layout I used a paper from American Crafts DIY Shop 4. I really love these kinds of papers. So versatile and great to have as background. I also used some papers from the collection All Wrapped Up. I think I ended up buying 3 different Christmas collections this year. I can never just pick one! 😀
Hope you like my layouts!
It’s been a while since I wrote here! But no worries… I’m back!
First out is this layout. I really really like this one. I love the contrast between the dark wood and the pink. And I also really love to mix collections. It’s so fun to dig in all the boxes and just use things up! So the mix is mostly Crate Paper – Little you and Maggie Holmes… but there is also some Jen Hadfield, Shimelle and the flair is from somewhere unknown (Studio Calico?)!
Digging through my boxes and mixing collections are my favorite way to work… and I often does layout like this when I’m trying to make room for news. This autumn will be great for my stash… two collections from Crate Paper and one from Maggie Holmes… and all the Christmas collections!!! Oh my!
See you soon!
I really really like the band Suede! I was in love with Brett Anderson when I was a teenager. And as you know… you never forget your first crush!
So… this summer… when they came to Stockholm… I was there!
I saw Suede for the first time this summer! It’s been almost 20 years since I bought my first Suede CD. Crazy! The concert was worth the wait and the night was magic! Loved every single second of it and came sooo close to my dear Brett!
And I made a layout and a PL page about the concert. Not much text at all… just the setlist. I need to go back and write everything about it. I often match layouts with pocket pages. It’s perfect when you have a lot of photos. Sometimes I even use the same photos on the layout and in the pockets. That’s because I think of layouts more like a pretty thing and the pocket pages as a memory.
For this layout I wanted to do something simple and cool. I digged out things from almost all my boxes. This is a mix of several brands and collections. Love to work like that!
That’s it from me today!
